So…Finally I am doing it. Sitting in front of my computer in my hostel room writing my blog. When I first thought of starting it, I always wondered what I would write. I could never imagine how people could write so much and many times at such high frequencies. How many ideas can one person get, especially something so concrete that he can write about a 1000 words on it? Well, then again, everyone’s not me!!!
So coming to it, what should I write about, or in a more twisted, confusing and “cliché” kind of way, what shouldn’t I write about? Maybe I could start a book or a journal, maybe a review of a movie, or maybe simply “nothing at all”. The latter is what I will “try” to execute today. How about a collage of random thoughts which have resided and subsequently left my mind over the last few days.
Let us first take up the topic of music. Have you wondered why, eventhough you try really really hard, you try to change your tastes, listen to some new songs, you still go back to the same old stuff?? Over and over and over again. For me its Floyd, or the Beatles, Maiden etc. I can listen to Hey Jude a MILLION times but Rockstar, maybe a just 5-6. Then again there are a few exceptions or anamolies. Take Coldplay for example. Okay, so they got caught up with a little plagiarism, but hey, wouldn’t you love to play and hum Yellow alone on the guitar or sing it to someone special??? If not, then DUDE!!!
Now food, the vital ingredient of the most important activity, except for ***, in a person’s life, but the thing we probably take the most advantage of. The lack of it will seriously make you realize the actual craving for it. Believe me, what wouldn’t I give for a Big Mac and some fries!!! I have been trying hard to take in my daily dose of 3200 calories, but man is it hard without the motivation of waking up to a plateful of bacon with some poach and orange juice!!!!
Friends, what wouldn’t you do without them. Anytime, anywhere, talk about whatever you want and time passes by just like that. Socializing is seriously amazing, most of the time mindless, silly, utter arbitrary small talk, but what fun!!! Then there is always the one in every group whose trip or case is always taken, one who demeans himself to the very bottom of embarrassment just by opening his mouth (hey..no obvious indications!!!) but without someone the group can never function without, an integral part of the group’s harmony.
So here I come to the end of my first blog entry, the relevance of which I cannot really fathom myself but the repercussions of which will hopefully be felt throughout the entire blogging world!!!!
